Do you need a full MA licence for the 4 Day or just a day licence like a club race? I guess if they charge the day rate for all 4 days you might as well get a years membership anyway.
October 29, 2009 at 7:42 am #158548Moto go in a 4 day  , maintain his own bike  get it ready in the first  heavy duty tubes, spark pugs, staying on his minute, not losing his time card, repairing a flat on the trail against the clock, battling fatigue, changing your gearbox oil air filter and repairing crash damage in your work period ha ha wouldnt miss this for the world
Just some examples
Word I heard today is that it will be a tough four day after this years shit fight
Hoping to be fit may give it ago will see dont what to rush coming back

Heavy duty tubes do need to be sorted, that or I was thinking I may even go the Mousse tube route. Spark plugs are cheap and easy. Staying on my monute and not losing my timecard are more difficult, I’ll have to work on that.
I start my new tarining plan Monday as mentioned before (now that folks are gone) so fatigue will be less of an issue. I won’t be crashing, smooth is fast remember
and I won’t drop the gearbox oil either. Air filter will be the only thing.
I’ll be cool as mustard in the pits with only an air filter to sort
I’m bound to have everything under the sun happen, but that’s just life, i deal with it like I do everything else that gets too hard, give up or get someone else to do it   Hey, at least I’m honest!

And I thought I was a tight arse Moto – you definatly got your moneys worth out of your chain and sprocket
Although you probably could of turned that sprocket around and got a few more rides out of it
October 29, 2009 at 11:09 am #158598I’ll get more quality riding in the next 3 days than the whole 3.25 A4DE. If your tight with money stay away from the 4day.
October 29, 2009 at 7:05 pm #158608Moved to the ride gathering forum because it no longer is a press release

You will need to read the MA rules and the event regs. – even a new KTM probably wont pass scrutineering in stock form. No bark busters allowed I think, handle bars must be plugged, front sprocket covered? – stuff like that all to be ticked off or you get sent away.
I haven’t been involved in enduro comp but Mal, TB and others can help with the right offer$ :laugh:October 30, 2009 at 8:54 am #158622
AnonymousCheers for the heads up Beemie, I’ll check with Rocket, TB and the guys in the know
The front part of my boot covers the sprocket so that’s already sorted
October 30, 2009 at 10:35 am #158711bark busters are allowed moto well they were this year .just need horn tail light headlight mirrors and rego and don t have to have blinkers just put some cheap fold up mirrors on passing the noise test should be easy on your 300 just repack the muffler after 6months riding they did not look very hard at scruttinaring this year .Also a helmet with australian standards sticker thats not trashed
October 30, 2009 at 10:41 am #158734any room for another pit crew member?????
October 30, 2009 at 10:50 am #158738sounds like a good excuse for a old bull pissup at mals hay boony
