    Looks neat,

Black is in vogue for this year yami, berg,GG, honda have black crf looks good. Come to think of it kawasaki as well.
Would love the button, for those shitty hill starts.

This bike should make Husky 300 less attractive, electric start and six speed going for it.

I wonder where ADB are going to place it in their shootout?

Gassers didn’t even make it to the shootout this year did they?

The EC300 I rode (before the dealer burnt down) was very soft in the power dlivery compared to a KTM300, very tractible and predictable, the new Husky300 I’ve been told is a firebreathing hanimal, and from what I’ve seen real world versus magazineland depends how much advertising dollars get spent with the mag as to where it comes in the shootout….:( .

    Robbo maybe you wont,

quote from one of the papers

” in this latest attack somalian pirates intercepted and raided the Liberian registered MSC FIRENZE and stole 3 containers of motorcycles that were heading for Sydney Australia from Europe. The ship was due in the Port of Sydney on August the 14th”

    :woohoo:

disclaimer – maybe the above did or did not happen

    I didn’t see that one ECKS-MAN

Yeah i can’t take these shootouts to serious myself, remember when they gave the KTM 2 stroke best enduro and everyone else got a best award in various roles.

I’t seems as though when a mag does an individual test on a bike they give their best view on it.Ive never ridden a KTM 300, but the GG went heaps harder than my 250, although the bars a very flat, but thats nothing.

I like their frame the way the tank sits down over the motor, makes it seem less top heavy. Mate who has one reakons its awesome and torque is good for climbs.

Position in ADB shootout’s usually depends on how much they spend on advertising.

The power of the GasGas can be adjusted easily and inexpensively according to the individual. This is done by playing with the base gaskets and the carby (Keihen 38 PWK) and of course the Muffler/pipe if required. It has a rather heavy flywheel which makes it a torque monster:woohoo: The six speed box is a bonus and it is one of the sweetest handling bikes Ive ever ridden and theres been a few:laugh: Plastics are good now as they are made by Polisport. The only real disadvantage is that there is not the same amount of bling or accessories out there compared to the Jap bikes or KTM. Spares are easily available Australia wide and are well priced. As long as the anvil for a seat has been replaced which Im sure it has it should be a great buy and you will definatley be seeing more of these Spanish senorita’s in the Aussie bush.

That means GG and TM have no chance??? :(
Maybe if they give us some new bikes to test we can do a review, that would be fun.

Thanks TB;) Everyone who has ridden mine has come away with a positive thing to say, Not everyone likes 2 stroke power and I wouldnt recommend if you had a lot of commuting on the cards. The Gasser is probably the tamest of all the manufacturers but that is a good thing in my books perfectly suited to trail riding.

They definatley need a pipe guard and bash plate, thats why I made my own;) but they are readily available from dealers.
