Mal the 09 GG are blue,so you could go runout?

They look red on the web site mate. The six day one looks the goods though.

The girl just came home and I showed her Ollies 2010 Gasser, and now she likes that one too. Lucky I ddin’t ring the Husky dealer today. When do they arrive Oliie?

About the Husky Ollie. I didn’t have a lot of time to think about the clutch feel, too busy braking for the next corner. Seemed ok for the ten minute run I had on it. The kick starter is ok, nothing like pushing a button on the bars for a start.

I think it is late August they are due to arrive. I dont mind Kicking the bike as the Gasser starts real easy ,but the kicker on the Husky is the same as the one on my 98 360 and I think they are pretty ordinary especially if you are a bit shorter in the leg. You cant start the Husky in Gear, No problems on the Gasser. The clutch from what X was saying is just wrong and should be a Hydraulic one like the the Kato and Gasser. small issues but at the end of the day of riding in the snot, all those minor things add up.

    cheers mate

Yeah could be right mate  but not replacing my bike for a long long time, nothing to replace it with (that would be my choice but only a smoker for cheaper running costs ):P

The new gasser is a nice looking bike (for a red one). Pitty the girl hates red bikes or I would be looking at one.

In the last week I have ridden a Husky 510 :( feels to heavy, Husky 300 :woohoo: :woohoo: holy crap, this thing needs velcro to sercure your hands to the bars, KTM 250 2T :woohoo: nice bike did 110 kms today and just loved the little bugger, KTM 300 Had a squirt on DrDs today. Feeels heavier than the 250 and much more powerful.

I’ve been trying to decide what to buy for the last month and I think it will be the Husky 300. I’ve had the KTM 250 in the shed for a month and it still just looks like well a KTM. Even the girl says it looks crap and she loves the look of the Husky.

Just my thoughts on the 2 stroke stuff.

And no I haven’t ridden a Gas Gas. Went off them when they changed the colour from blue to red.

  i thought you said that you wore the pants mal, or was that you just talking tuff with the boys:laugh:

As if you care about running costs TB.

Anyone who mounts a new rear tyre every second ride and uses a bucket of Shine and Go each wash is not concerned with the cost, they do it for the love:)

Yeah but if I reduce running costs I can fit a new tyre every ride and fill a sheep dip with bike shine and run the bike through it

Whats wrong being well prepared :(

    Hey Mal

I rode up at hampton with a guy from melbourne with a 300 Gasgas and he did a main bearing in at full noise beside my at 120km’s on dual trails like we where on today.

She lock up solid and wouldn’t turn over at all so make your mind before you buy Dude.

    Cheers

Hey Dr D what year model was this 300? I know they have changed the bearings in the newer models, I think 05 and Older had the shite ones.
