Nah, who could blame anyone for not updating the bikes much this year? Besides, and I am sure Yamaha will agree with me here, when you are on to a good thing, why change?
August 24, 2009 at 4:55 am #149814Yep, their still ORANGE!

AnonymousIt was dissapointing for me, although not unexpected. I hope next year they at least put some FI on the bike. The frame mod is the only real change that you might notice, with the exception of he few riders that will notice 100g less of wheel at each end of the bike.

I would have bet money on them having at least EFI this year on at least their their motorcross bikes, do they? Husaberg have it, and they are supposed to be all KTM parts aren’t they? Maybe ol mate is right regarding
R & D, just a thought :dry:TB

They are a nice looking bit of machinery.August 24, 2009 at 6:03 am #149832Hey Boony
They are 50% lighter than your Banana and 30% more expensive so by the gram you still have the best value in town:laugh:
August 24, 2009 at 6:29 am #149834It was said that KTM copied the general look of Suzukis’ PE and Yamahas IT ranges from the 70s, I disagreed I think they all copied Ossa, and now without Ossa to copy KTM are lost in a world of constant asthetic reinvention, although it seems the 2010 range have settled into a rut somewhat.
maybe they’ve decided to give the designers a breather, to get to know their inner artiste’ and send them on a mystical journey to the great southern land to learn the ancient art of bling bling at the feet of the Guru known as “Meance”.
