Gidday. Traded in my old WR450 for a 2011 Sherco 300i. Neil, the owner of Triple R Motorcycles at McGraths Hill (02 4587 9699) was great to deal with. So many bike shops make you feel like you are wasting their time or dont want to help, so it was refreshing to find someone that was actually interested in spending time with the customer. The bike was actually his own. Took delivery 2 days ago.
I took it out this morning at Menai with Needlemeyer and a couple of others. Bike handles well, is light and goes hard, even tho less bottom end torque than the 450, but with a few revs, it performs well.
Very happy with my choice of Sherco for my new steed, altho the wife isn’t that impressed. “Just another blue motorbike….”
Not accustomed to posting photos, so hopefully it is attached!
    Cheers

just went through this myself open a photobucket account upload your photos into that you will see a share underneath the photo once uploaded click on that
(start 2 pages up with 1 being your post for oldbulls and 1 being for your photobucket page and keep them both open ready) which will come up with your codelink,
scroll across that with your cursor while holding down the left clicker on your mouse makesure all letters are covered in blue ,
once this is done up in the left hand corner you have file, edit ,view ,favorites, tools and help hit edit and then copy,
once thats done go back to your oldbulls page right click and then hit paste then submit

    hope this helps mate

Hey budge congratulations on the new bike.
I to have been thinking seriously about Sherco when it comes time to upgrade. They have been getting a good rap over the past 12 months.
I use triple r all the time (5 mins away) and can add a plus 1 for neil and the shop :)
A great place and bloke to deal with and well worth a visit if your around the windsor/ hawkesbury area.

P.s Neil will be happy now he can get the 2012 model ;)

Let us know how it goes for you, I’ve liked the Shercos since I rode the 250 a couple of years ago. Been tossing around the idea of a 300 for my next dirt bike – of the new /near new bikes I’d like I think these are my pick.
