Doing the Toy Run this year.
Sunday Dec 4th , Stockton to Newcastle Foreshore. A good charity run & BBQ .
If anyone is keen to come along for the run, I will sort a meet point & time for OBT membersOld Bulls can meet up 8.45am at the corner of INDUSTRIAL HWY & STEEL RIVER BOULEVARD, MAYFEILD (OPPOSITE STEVENSON PARK) to get to Stockton for the 9.00am meet time and depart there at 10am for the Run to Newy
PLEASE NOTE, ALL BIKES MUST BE ROAD REGISTERED & RIDERS LICENCED

Lets see if some more Bulls join in ,,,As far as Toys go I`m not sure yet (have emailed Big John the organiser) but I know where we can get a heap of Stuffed Old Bulls , but I don`t think the kids will be interested in them :laugh:

Im a newbie on here been reading for a while, Havnt got a bike yet only a Honda Z50j may hit this ride on that, sounds like fun. It only does 60km/h should be ok I hope.
44November 20, 2011 at 6:01 pm #212064I gave up on this toy run… too many problems took the fun out of it. Last year we went on the Wingham Toy Run and had a great time. We’ll be doing that again this year.

10:30am to leave at 11:00am
to Harrington Skate Park.The route includes Wingham Road, Lansdowne, Coopernook and Harrington with the gifts to then be presented to the Salvos. There will food available to purchase at the skate park and the public is encouraged to come along and take part in the festivities.

Will let the Coffs Charity Ride this weekend take the limelight for now :laugh: It`s HUGE !!!!Big John has replied to my email & you can bring a Toy to donate or cash can be given direct to the Salvos at the finish point in Newy (for which they will issue a receipt)

I believe thats why they have changed the route this year, added Police escort & RTA have given “GREEN LIGHTS” for the entire route
Also the start time has been reverted back to the old one as well

November 20, 2011 at 8:31 pm #212110I had a great day out at the Hastings ride on Saturday. If you are doing nothing on the day, I would recommend joining in on the Newcastle one. You will be more than welcome and you will see some great bikes and be a part of something big and most of all, worthwhile.
