I was actually scared to click the link and look then!

But I’m OK .. the 300 doesn’t seem a lot different, frame, bit of power and 4CS forks. Phew! Getting the 2012 at a discount was still a good decision … till the 2014 models, or a GasGas :)

The new plastics look nice though.

They’ve gone away from the postie engine ???

and the return of the 350 4T… 1991 was their second ever model….. for as ong as i cold remember it was 450, 550, 650 before the 70ยบ engines. all 100mm bore with a different stroke.

    anyway enough of the past.

    350 only 1kg heavier than the 250. 501 only .5kg heavier than the 450. both same 95mm bore….

2T: 250 and 300 share the same stroke… each 2T is either under square or a square engine… being 125 and 250 has a longer stoke than bore and the 300 is 72mm bore/72mm stroke.

shame on you STM.. bringing us a link only. …… making us do all our own work on a Saturday and all!

    :pinch: :P :P ๐Ÿ˜†

I thought the addition of a 250F was interesting but then again it mirrors the KTM range. Apart from the forks and subframe they seem to be blue KTM’s which is what everyone was predicting would happen.

    wheres the yellow frame :(

i loved the yellow frame

Its about time you came out and admitted you love yellow Menace.

The new bergs look good. The 300 is the pick for me.

I gotta ask the question though, now that it appears Husaberg no longer has any real technical input into the bikes (Forks and different plastics, big deal) is there any real point in KTM continuing the Husaberg line?

    Why not?

The crf, wr, klx and rmz all have similar frames and engines

But they are not owned by the same company.

The allmighty dollar will take over eventually and the weakest selling bike will disappear.

I will probably buy one just because so many people seem to bag KTM but not so much for the Bergs  plus I have had a trouble free run with my Berg so far.

With 2 similar bikes they can have 2 competitive teams at enduro races.

i reckon they are smart ;)

anyone who secretly likes KTM but hasnt got the balls to admit it goes and buys a Berg :)

simple, they sell to 2 markets
    and double their sales…..

gives all the japanese sheep riders an excuse to go euro

lets admit it dudes, both bikes are a good thing…..
