Well after months of stalking NIPES and AMCC websites i finally see what i want to see, PART of the 2013 calander has been realised on the armidale motorcycle club !

guessing it will be another 5 round series, first round been on the 7th april at ‘Bannaweera’ Uralla

and the 5th round been at .. wait for it .. UPPER HORTON ! 26th october 2013 !

will post more as i find it, whos keen !

have done part of the last 2 years of this 2011 was great but the organisation of 2012 was a bit out of the ordinary cancelled rounds that were reinstated at another date to be cancelled again. I dont know whos fault it was if any as one of the rounds that were reinstated just happened to be on the same weekend that a state round was being held at wellington and was within a 500 km exclusion zone and couldnt be rescheduled which wasnt really anybodys fault. and website updates werent very forthcoming.
Now in m not having a go at anyone in particular because i dont really know who does what but this is a great series and as a punter that travels 6 hours to some of these events ( and just an average rider at that but just want to compete)just want the series to continue and continue well

I’d like to do the series, yes.
Got a 4th place in the 1994 NSW pony express series through just turning up, had a great year racing, keen to see some more of NSW in 2013

what does it cost to do a race in the PE, whats the scutineering like?

About $100 – $120 by the time you get a 1 day licence entry fee and transponder hire.

The races I have done the scrutineering is pretty relaxed, just because the bike looks like shit doesn’t mean its not safe and everything works like it should.

they didnt have those at upper horton and it was $100 for the day

as long as your foot pegs flick back, you got some form of bar ends ( or barkbusters ) your throttle flicks back on its own, you have a bar pad ( a few of my mates ended up with shirts tied to the handle bars ) and your wheel bearings and spokes are in good order ( my front bearings had a bit of a knock to them but old mate reakon’d they’d last 4 hours haha ) your all good
