The nervous moment after a dusty event when you open the air box to check the state of ypour filter and you find this.

    And this

And then the moment of truth when you turn it over

    And find this B) P1010443_zpsad1f3753.jpg

Marty450 was a victim at 0:46, moving over on the left. I thought I saw myself in the clip as well! getting done, but the white sideplates put me in the clear.

Looks like a typical lap a few hours in. Spud you handled them well. You had to get them out of your way when you could.Picked off a few on the BIG hill.
The crash looked like a hard one. At least you didnt have to pick the bike up.

    Action packed video STM. Awesomeness.

Your filter was relatively clean compared to mine. At least you can still see some bits of moist oil on the outside, mine looks like solid dirt.

Probably only had the power of 250 near the end

Great clip STM..The track was awesome. The bloke on the hill was rolling backwards towards me.
He clipped my radiator shroud as i went past.I Thought i was gone…

Galey,my shoulder still hurts from hitting that tree.it knocked me off soooo fast.next thing i knew i was on the ground..the other tree saved my bike.I kept a close eye on that tree after that.. :woohoo:
    …spud…

Great result BundyRoy B) you must be stuffed mate !!

Not sure it was un old bull like though TB , we had our best crack with no DNFs , BundyRoy was just a shit load better than some of us :D :D

LC and his team really impressed me for a bunch of loose units :P they did a very professional job and rode so well they certainly were our benchmark to strive for during the race.

Galey and Mick were amazingly tough and stubborn and still flying to the end :)

Marty and Goc went out so hard too and were great to have a laugh with between laps ;)

Apart from the rancid portaloo near our pit tents this was the best pit area to be in my opinion :D :woohoo:

    Nick

    Ride hard play hard! :woohoo:

You should have stayed around for the after race shenenigans if you wanted to see some loose units in action. B)

Shitty putting his bike on the rev limiter at 1am and pissing the bed were the highlights of the event.    (and struggling to concentrate on the road on the drive home, I was so  I felt like driving off a cliff and ending it all)

What about all the young moto punks that either gave up or crashed and struggled on the single track and rough stuff.

If a fat bastard like me can do his last lap only 20 seconds slower than his fastest lap after 11 hours what is their excuse.

I bet they were in bed cuddling their teddy bears at nine o’çlock too.

I know what your saying LC , the average age of our team was 40 and the amount of guys half our age that were stopped half way round having a rest surprised me !!

On a couple of laps I had young MX guys overtake only to crash next corner then repeat overtake/crash to the end of lap and we’d finish at the same time

Thanks for the vid Galey , I’d forgotten how smooth the track was at the start with no braking bumps :D
