I am doing a ride starting at 8am from just outside of Orange. Saturday mornings ride will consist of all pine single trail, after about 3 hrs then a pub lunch in town and refuel, we will then ride back out to another pine forest and bush for a couple of hrs of all single trail.
After which we will ride back to the cars (parked at my parents property) fuel up and put on our back packs with clothes for an overnight stay at Hillend Pub, we will then ride to Hillend via a mixture of fire trails, dirt roads, one big long creek crossings and the Bathurst / Hillend Bridle trail.

    Overnight Stay Hillend and refuel

Sunday leave Hillend after fueling at the servo, travel out through Long Point crossing via fire trails and twin trails to Mullion Creek where we will have fuel stored. We will then spend a few hrs riding in what I think is the best single trails I have ridden, Moto, LC, Champo and I really enjoyed them when we rode out there in April

Ride is a grade 4 at a grade 3 pace

Why of course Mal, although I hope this doesn’t put strain on the husky, I see its had a bitch fit since the tractors handed it arse to it on its home turf  (please don’t think I am being cruel to Mal, we spoke on the phone recently and he knows its coming)
On a serious note would you ride it or the 510, remembering although the morning is tight, the run to Hillend is very open the next day is open and then very tight again

smiley-laughing021.gif Gee you have a way with words TB. Would have been nice if the Husky maned up to the tractors, instead it droped it guts and never picked them back up. :(

I’ll probably take the Sherco as it will be easier with fuel and I can wheelie it a couple of meters more then the Husky (that’s about 20m all up).

This ride will be a ripper TB.

From what you have told me about the single line out there it will shit hot.

Also a night in a pub is always good for some after ride Vitamin B replacement and plenty of bench racing.

Get on board people it will be great and it’s my birthday ride too :)

Dan it will be a cracker, it will be all tight almost virgin singles, very little if any dust. Great counter lunches, more singles and then an afternoon cruise with some incredible views. Creek crossings a technical rock section from hell, and most of the day left doing singles and stracks from the 4 day this year and some technical stuff, perfect I promise ;)
