There are spots still available for this ride for anyone interested

Also start has been changed to 9.30am start location to be PM’ed later

    Ride Details

I am doing a ride starting at 9.30am from just outside of Orange. Saturday mornings ride will consist of all pine single trail, after about 3 hrs then a pub lunch in town and refuel, we will then ride back out to another pine forest and bush for a couple of hrs of all single trail.
After which we will ride back to the cars (parked at my parents property) fuel up and put on our back packs with clothes for an overnight stay at Hillend Pub, we will then ride to Hillend via a mixture of fire trails, dirt roads, one big long creek crossings and the Bathurst / Hillend Bridle trail.

    Overnight Stay Hillend and refuel

Sunday leave Hillend after fueling at the servo, travel out through Long Point crossing via fire trails and twin trails to Mullion Creek where we will have fuel stored. We will then spend a few hrs riding in what I think is the best single trails I have ridden, Moto, LC, Champo and I really enjoyed them when we rode out there in April

Ride is a grade 4 at a grade 3 pace

After the recce ride yesterday we have changed the route a little from what was previously going to be the way.

We will no longer be doing the river crossing at Root Hog, instead we will do a much shallower river crossing.

Its the last ride that TB will be leading for a while with his upcoming shoulder surgery.

We all know that TB runs and leads the best rides so to miss out on this one you will end up dissapointed.

Lipton has just phoned and is keen to join us but will have to bail out subday morning when we get back to the cars to drop our back packs before we head out to the singles again as he has to fly out to QLD at 6pm.
