    Arrived at around 05:45.
Geared up and rode off at around 06:10.
Went WNW and up my latest warm up hill then went south down the single stuff in and around the watties forest road.
3 hours later re fuelled and went north. Ended up at freeman’s for lunch.
By this time it was hot so I went back to car loaded up and left at around 13:30.

    Notable stuff:
Can start riding at around 05:10 as there is sufficient light by said time.
Great time of day to be riding.
    Summer will not be missed.

Nah, but it sits waiting hopefully in the back of the car.
I think the rain magnet wore off after the first few uses. Went a good few weeks there of getting rain every time it came along.

No bunyips or any of those other things but I saw enough bush turkeys to feed india for a month! Also pheasants, goanas and wallabies.

Way to hot lately to do anything other then start at sparrow’s.
2 in a row is best when you go to bed early.

Good on you Diddel for getting out at the golden time, I have done so for 30 years and yes in summer it is the only time to ride, it is even better to get out the a couple of hours before dawn and ride through the sunrise, magic moments to be had there, back by 10am with 6 hours riding, beat the heat, and getting back whilst the old farts are still grumbling about early morning starts, only way to go :)

Only hard thing is getting to bed early enough on the friday night.
Usually reserve that time for pack up after weeks bike work.

I’ll give it to you and say you’re keen Diddel! Are you riding this weekend? I’ll be up for a play but not if you’re starting at 5:10am!!

    Silly question .
    05:30 ok precious?
I think early starts will be good. in bed by late arvo after Saturday then up and at it again early Sunday.

Hoping this rain stays put, not like last week where it wandered off when least desired!

Must say tho the milk shake I got from the freeman’s restaurant wasn’t to flash, I was expecting something brilliant.

So where are we going to ride? There is no way in hell I’ll be starting out at 5:30am ;) Especially since I’ll have to travel down from the Bay.

I’ll give you a shout through the week….
