Your both on the list now.

Quater sessions – what sort of help do you need? Don’t listen any help offered by the Tammworth nut bags either.

Thanks Mal and Bollocks is the only Tamworthing worthy of coming

    Hi Team,

Book me a spot on the start gate for the OBT birthday ride please. I will confess to being a mate of Mal, Tim, Clarky,Marty the list goes on.
I am a medium paced rider from Bathurst and regularly get out with Tim and Mal and follow their dust at Sunny Corner. I will be looking forwards to Mals single track loops as that guy CAN RIDE!
I have read the first post and various other interesting posts along the way.
I recently drove the Turon Track in the 4×4 with my kids and I was drooling at getting back with the bike. Then this great sounding ride comes up. Awesomeness.
Any tips on conditioning a new swag?

See you on the 28th to put faces to profiles!

    Cheers Galey

You need to read the updates in the first post if you are attending as there have been some changes, some stand out some need to be looked for so read it carefully thanks.

There will be a riders briefing at Capertee at

7.45am if you don’t attend the briefing you don’t

go on the ride. The briefing will be 15mins

before the ride away time because

we don’t want people to have helmets

on or still getting dressed we will

need your full attention for this ride

    to work

Make sure you know how the cornerman system works link here

After some discussions with Mal5.1 and Medogrocket the camping area has been moved, we are no longer camping near Sofala or on the river due to the numbers and logistics.

The ride will start as organised at 8am ( that’s 8am ride away not nearly ready or front up that’s ride away ) we will ride as a group to to the camp area. There will be some breaks, there will be some grade 4 sections for those that want to do them and and normal twin track for those that don’t.

Once at the camp area you will be able to setup, have some lunch, refuel or nothing. There will be after loops run from the camp and back all afternoon of ALL different grading meaning there will be a ride for everybody. We don’t want people wandering off on their own rides either or in small groups because the groups will be coming and going certain directions to prevent accidents.

A load of fire wood will be delivered and we are organising water for the site. Again there are no shops, pubs, toilets etc at the camp area.

Some of the prizes will be auctioned off by our celebrity auctioneer Bollocks all money raised goes to the Tuff Jugg and the Kidney Foundation so pack some coin as well as you will get a bargain and it goes to a good cause.

A generator and lighting stands will be on site, there maybe limited phone service but I wouldn’t count on it.

And you want to know where the camp area is, come on the ride

    Easy as galey
Set the swag up on the lawn, hose it down so that it is good and wet(not just a sprinkle), leave it in the sun to dry-when the top is dry roll it over to make sure the bottom has dried as well-then repeat two more times. I repeat this once a year unless Iv’e been camping in the rain, the more you do it the better it will be-one of mine is now 8 years old and still going strong.

You better bring some riding gear Eags, I will give you a go on my bike so you can practice for when the 690 turns up.

The 690 will be 10 times better though

I spent the weekend stripping my little Yammy down and giving her a good clean and inspection. I stripped down to main frame and then cleaned and put her back piece by piece and while I was at it I replaced the whole drivetrain including chain guide and axle blocks.
    IMG_0546.jpg

New air and oil filter and a fresh drink of Silkolene and I am ready to go.

    Bring it on.

Looks good STM. I took the pig for a shakedown ride today. A clean up and a new rear tyre is all she needs and she is good to go

am considering wether to fit a new back tyre and front disce and pads but am thinking better of just completly trashing the rear dunlop and having fun spinning it up and using the rest of the brakes up and sharpen the knife a bit more and giving it the flogging it deserves being a ktm.will give it fresh oil but and an air filter
