    Woke to much cooler conditions
We had a little rain over night but not enough
    Riders started arriving early
Once geared up we were off
Our singles were in top condition being a little damp. B)
Under the railway and more singles heading towards Amazon
The first hill was conquered by all eventually, some glad to take a friendly helping hand and others head strong and not wanting anybody touching there bike so they could say they made it on there own steam. :woohoo: A rest was warranted at the top.
Transport section to Slippery rock, this time every one basted up
Some singles to Rope rd and off to the lookout above an old rock climbing crag that I used to climb
Getting down to the bottom of the valley seemed to take forever. ;)
This only meant one thing, we were in for the next challenging hill, Congo. :)
Again we had some nail it and others have a bit of trouble. All was good and another rest at the top.
Long boring stretch back to Amazon and then a couple of little singles to break up the decent back to Becks rd and on to Freemans.
Food and fuel was had, said our goodbyes to Friendy who had done a great job getting up those hills.
(Sorry Friendy, I didn’t get many piccy’s of you. Maybe KTM_Rules did)
Then off to our last major hill of the day with a Subway footlong churning in the guts.
Bit of a gnarly hill before Razorback, then it was game on.
KTM_Rules hit the centre of the slab before I could get my camera out and made it look easy. He did have a little off further up.
Mick25 followed the same line. :woohoo:
Tim, Sam, CJ and I took on the slightly left line. :cheer:
I think it was Rick and Hendo1 took the far left line and Chris-t had a great start, following Tims line.
Unfortunately it didn’t stay great and he came off just above the step up. It was here that I could of kicked myself. :pinch: Thinking that Chris-t had it under control I put the camera away and headed back to my bike phycing up for my attempt. It was then that I heard a yell and that unmistakable sound of steel grinding on rock. I turned to see Chris-t and his Husky sliding/falling down the rock face. Checked to see if he was alright and then went back to kicking myself for not catching the most spectacular off of the day on film. :pinch:
Rode along Razorback and came to stage 2 which I think is a little harder
Again most got up alright, some took the easier (maybe) line to the right and a couple of us had a few attempts.
We then did K9 in reverse and some of the newer singles back to the tower.
It was here that Hendo1, Sam, Chris-t and myself left the others and headed home.
I was totally cramping up by the time I rolled down our driveway.
The “Hardcore” crew were out doing singles for another hour or more.
Big thanks to everybody for coming along. B)
If ya’s enjoyed it, keep an eye out for our Basin Run and Southend Run. The later probably in the cooler months
    Cheers
    Murph
    P.S. Piccy’s to come

    Great read Murph,
Chris-t called me on his way home and was pumped about the ride , he’s sounded like he had a ball and was frothing about Amazon and his off on Razorback , shame you missed the footage mate ,you can’t beat watching a mate and his bike base jumping off a cliff :D ( glad you weren’t hurt chris ;) )

Looking forward to the pics :woohoo:

If any of the riders got through yesterday without stepping off there bikes somewhere they deserve a medal.
