What happened after that last one of Justo? That looks like it would have hurt a lot!
Hey OG, Justo said he was OK and we were closer to the top of the mountain than the bottom so he pressed on. Onya Justo. 👿 :woohoo:

MurphMarch 30, 2013 at 9:39 pm #238886:laugh: I got a sobering lecture from my other half about the long term effects of repeated injury on your body. Apparently, continued exposure to pain actually causes permanant damage to your brain. That explains a lot
If you want to keep riding when you’re 70 then you have to pick a time to back off the super crazy stuff and let the young ones ruin their bodiesI actually didn’t feel too bad the next day though. I can still recover quickly, thank you youth
.
You can take me riding again and watch me flake out after 4hrs of easy stuff while you keep powering on and know that you are still bloody fit!

March 30, 2013 at 10:53 pm #238864Thanks for putting the ride on murph… ( i think) 😆
Well the mighty Amazon threw almost every thing at me which broke me and the bike…
Was all good while it lasted. Damn flat battery made it harder than normal  and accelerated the fatigue factor…
  …… Thanks to those who helped kick some life into big girl!!
As usual, there were some challenging single trails and great little test sections , which made it good to step outside the comfort zone …. and certainly showed
2 inches to the left and think I would have been sweet!!!!
But the nasty log hop was not meant to be   .
Hey OG…Despite the landing :pinch: I came away with no physical pain…. just dented pride…. and concern after noticing the fuel cap ripped off and 5 litres of fuel was sloshing down the rut    😆
Dude …. Lucky the tyre hit harder than me, that damn sun it the eyes though    it even gave murph some grief taking photos…..
After bailing out at the top …. Gave led us back and found some sweet trails which allowed us to cool down and have a bit more fun….. :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo:
Great photos and report murph!!
Cheers justo

March 31, 2013 at 1:07 am #238898Hey Murph,
Thanks for the ride. I had a ball and loved all of the single track right from the start. heaps of drop off’s, rock climbs and log jumps. Its been a while since the 450 has been out of the shed and it woke up a few muscles that havent been used for a while. We forgot about the lack of fuel left in Justos tank and went back into the woods at Halkmount Rd and single tracked all the way back, found the tunnel and were lucky to find our way out. Just a small stop to transfer some fuel to get us back.
Cheers guys, great pics Murph,
That was an impressive crash Justo. Awsome to watch. Degree of difficulty, loss of fuel and even to be able to get it caught on camera. 7/10.
