Maybe us Southeners can meet up and have an Old Bull Trailriders convoy up?

ChrisI don’t think they do have a numbers cut off and KTMRAT was telling me today, that if you have a MA club licence you dont have to have a day licence and the club is looking at day memberships for the club to keep the costs down. There is nothing set in concrete yet and will keep you posted.
Keep an eye on the site ChrisT as we sometimes do rides that don’t really require a number plate.
September 22, 2008 at 11:55 am #108440Hey Mick as per our conversation today I cant wait to see some of the looks on faces of the Old Bulls after they find out the 7-9 year olds on their 65’s did the race the day before them and maybe did faster times….Bring it on….Oh and also I am open to bribes at the scrutineering stop at the beginning of the day…especially those Honda’s…cant wait to see some of you guys there
September 22, 2008 at 8:29 pm #108506Dave,I know what you mean about the 65’s, the first time I was a sweep rider, young Kassidy got away from me on his KX65 through the tight sections down near the old dozer. I didn’t have a hope in hell of catching him and at the time I think I was riding my CRF250!!

AnonymousMick – do you know what the deal is with the Pony Express in terms of enetering? Me and Gili are keen but wanted to know if there was any benefit to pre-enetring? I take it entry on the day is acceptable though?

AnonymousOkay, after a bit of research I have found a link to the entry form for the Pony Express (Click Here). Hit the download button on the right hand side of the screeen.
It looks like a club day membership is $10, day MA licensce is $55 and entry fee is $35. It will cost non Hastings Valley Motorcyle Club members $100 all up.
Gili – Do you want to fill the form out shortly and send it off? We also need to confirm which each other what boxes we are ticking to ensure we fill out the forms the same. I wouldn’t want to get there and have to do the Ironman :p
Camping is also available on Saturday night. It will be a fair way up for us in the morning, I reckon we will need to camp.
Mick/KTMRat – Do you know what the required SPL is for exhausts? Is it 96dba?
Ooooh, check me out – Platinum BoarderB)

No worries about noise… KTMRAT is the scrutineer and is open to graft and corruption especially if you are wheeling a pumpkin through scrutineering!!

AnonymousI was thinking that but my bike does have a throaty burble to it. I do have a quiet insert but would still be scared if they were testing to 94dba as opposed to 96. I’ll bring my standard muffler along anyway.
Do you have any more details Mick? What time we have to be there for registration, what time racing starts etc.
October 9, 2008 at 5:50 am #109055hey Steve, yeah will fill out forms soon. What date is the race again? got to make sure im not on duty or anything!

Anonymous16th November mate
I’m not fussed if we do it on the day providing they accept on the day entries.

AnonymousGili – Do you mind if we leave this one ‘open’ as I could end up having to move on this weekend? The plan is to still do it, but things don’t seem to be going my way recently

Hey Moto , Mate dont worry about sound testing, with the pony expresses I expect a lot of bush only riders that are not up to race specs, I promise you you wont need it your standard unit as I am the only one there who would be called upon to test suspects anyway……..the batteries have been know to go flat real quick with the sound meter especially if they are not in the darn thing…..dont stress Old Bull…..its all good…..cheques payable to my wife are fine….but cash is better…See you up here
