    Ok TB

Put our names on your list for reserves if the second group does not happen.

How about a team effort with sweet talking the support crew – you would be hard pressed to find a better support crew than what we had for this ride:) :) :) :)

Hmmmm. I have to think about this.

It was pretty difficult for me to see everyone riding around and being so excited about the riding and me (& Salina) being left behind. :(

    But…….

How can I give up the opportunity to have another weekend like that? Even though I sat in the car most of the weekend, I had an absolute ball.

Plus I just happen to know all the motels in the area which is a bonus

Maybe one year if I keep practising I might be good enough to actually go on the ride as well.

I would be scared Moto, Dan is riding real fast, smooth and consistent now days, this ride did him the world of good and we are doing plenty more rides out in a new area that is the bomb.

Run Moto, I am watching my back as well

I have posted this story on an English XR site so will see what they think, one comment so far says “i love the way you work lol quick guy struggling up a hill grab the camara sod helping him..lmao

    good report”

The guy is referring to Dan struggling on the big hill with no traction and me just taking pictures and yelling at him

I have just re-read this thread again and how good was this ride.

I am so looking forward to next years “Longest Weekend Out” :)

Funny thing Dan I did early this morning also check this thread out. There are some major changes to the route next year as to cut out two of the bitumen transport sections and two of the twin trail sections will be replaced by one very steep up hill section and a single trail section about 11kms long I belive.
Also Mal 5.1 will take the lead at Sunny Corner and get us back to Lithgow via Capertee.

I am also thinking of the “B” team only going to Capertee then into Lithgow as they haven’t done it before and it would ease the organisational nightmare that is running two groups and they would still have a fantastic and challenging ride
