It was pretty difficult for me to see everyone riding around and being so excited about the riding and me (& Salina) being left behind.
But…….
How can I give up the opportunity to have another weekend like that? Even though I sat in the car most of the weekend, I had an absolute ball.
Plus I just happen to know all the motels in the area which is a bonus
Maybe one year if I keep practising I might be good enough to actually go on the ride as well.

The guy is referring to Dan struggling on the big hill with no traction and me just taking pictures and yelling at him

Funny thing Dan I did early this morning also check this thread out. There are some major changes to the route next year as to cut out two of the bitumen transport sections and two of the twin trail sections will be replaced by one very steep up hill section and a single trail section about 11kms long I belive.
Also Mal 5.1 will take the lead at Sunny Corner and get us back to Lithgow via Capertee.I am also thinking of the “B” team only going to Capertee then into Lithgow as they haven’t done it before and it would ease the organisational nightmare that is running two groups and they would still have a fantastic and challenging ride
