Yeah the Zone, sorry about that corner guys where you waited for Crash and I after the gate hope was as good for you as it was for me
Yes I am already planning next year, couple of things I will do different, it will be two days Jeffro. Those that made the effort this year have walk up start places for next year, which will limit new starters but they made the effort this time, sorry but numbers need to be limited because the distance, (we could maybe, maybe run a parallel tour with a separate leader They could run together but separately, maybe would have to think about it)

If we spread it over 3 days it might not be as taxing
Wouldn’t be as taxing but wouldn’t have the same experience factor.
It was definately a confidence builder for me.

July 6, 2009 at 11:04 am #142393Top effort Boys and Girlz done in the true OB spirit. Lots of kays done at a pretty quick pace to. Cant say its my cup of tea or that I would have done it on a two stroke (got me beat how champo does it:dry: ) Dan shame about the tyres, obviously not suited to that type of terrain and riding, being a softer compound and all. Mine went well in the Watagans on Saturday, even the one you nearly had a heart failure on:laugh:
Crash mate your selling yourself short, You gave the big fella to much head start:laugh:
Jeffro and Boulder great blokes out having a Phat time awsome stuff guys. PS I think Gili may want to sell his well cared for 08 WR450 for a 2 stroke soon;)
The back up crew :woohoo: I could just imagine the stories that were coming out of that vehicle:laugh::kiss:
Great stuff
beats sitting on a lounge watching the tube any day.

OllieSounds like you need to purchase a decent two stroke mate, not so many years ago, two strokes won the Baja 1000 (miles that is), people raced them in the Australian Safari, Condo 750, people like Geoff Ballard rode a KX500 from Cairns to the top of Australian and back with his wife on the back. Champo is just doing with his two stroke what they have always done, he changes the front sprocket for the rides, maybe you should change two strokes?
Sorry mate I reckon your bike could handle it fine
