i think you and your speedo need calibrating!
You get 165km out of a std 525 with std gearing gear it up and put a stroker crank and big bore kit and 196 is quite achievable
Yes Bull it was a blast that day, I think it actually had another 5-10 ks in it as I had not reached full revs and I got scared as I was running a front dirt nobby with a motard rear
196 locked in my ride computer log
Yes Menace 196 is true Buddy
No way Squirrels right you saying its faster then the factory 505 at finke
I have a trail tech and it always gives top speeds of 199, if its a mag sensor pick up its wrong, I only believe mine because it was a GPS (and its 30 kph less)

That would explian his bad grammar and lack of punctuation. It could also be the way he manages to pull of keeping a seperate IP.
It would also explain the delay in his witless replies as using a Nokia keypad without an opossable thumb must be tough.
We are getting closer you nut muncher!

AnonymousGreat ride reports guys, it made a very good read and I enjoyed watching the vids, especially hearing crash swearing when he rounded the corner onto that big rock
I’ll look forward to getting out on that A track TB
July 10, 2009 at 9:08 pm #142290Excellent reports and vids that A track looks like a good ride.
July 11, 2009 at 12:05 pm #143119If there are 4 more guys that what to do the 2010 version of this ride in the 2nd group, the group will be run parallel to our group but separately, that way one group cant hold up the other, both groups would stay at the same overnight location
Please PM me if you are interested, the leader the of the 2nd group would be provided with all the route locations and details, the 2nd group would leave about half an hour before my group so has not to get confused but I would be behind should they have navigation dramas

AnonymousGet on board people. You will be given one of the most rewarding rides around.
Plus the chance of riding the A track:)
July 12, 2009 at 8:06 pm #143318I have to say I am still not sure a 2nd group can be run, its a logistical nightmare I have to say, will see what happens

And I thought I was the only one that re-visited this thread. Nothing like re-living a ride like this one.
I like the new text on the bottom of your posts TB – very true words:)
July 18, 2009 at 11:39 am #144325No Dan I am looking at it for next years route, it is going to be that little bit tougher just so we can test ourselves that little bit more and hey can you start sweet talking the support driver
I was the best ride ever I reckon, hope Menace doesnt hold us back to much next year

AnonymousWell I suppose we will have to make some consulations for our Mexican brother:laugh: He can always ride with the support crew and take his bike off in the carparks and have a little ride around to feel included:P
Only pulling your chain my southern brother – you will have a blast:)
How about a team effort with sweet talking the support crew – you would be hard pressed to find a better support crew than what we had for this ride:)
