I have a 560 acre property, divided into four separate lots for sale at Pappinbarra (35 KMs west of Wauchope) This property lends itself to a perfect weekend escape spot on your dirt bikes. It is steep and forested by hardwood on the ridges and pockets of rainforest in the gullies. Perfect for cutting your own private trails through. It is pretty isolated, you could ride here to your hearts content and not disturb a soul.
There are several fire trails and a few single trails cut through the property already.
There are some great views to be had from the ridges.
Very little of the land is cleared, what little bit that is has a caravan, and shed. There is also a separate garden shed containing a septic toilet and and basin. A great spot for camping.
There are plenty of trees that could be logged to generate a small income on the side, to offset costs of the property if you wanted.
Asking $250,000 for all 4 portions.
Any genuine enquiries can be PM’d to me.

I’m sure if it had a dam it would say ‘spring fed dam’ etc etc
September 12, 2013 at 9:52 am #249682Heah mick, Does 4 portions mean you could subdivide and sell of a portion to help pay for the purchase.

Shame about that.
I’m keen for a bush block that size, but I want to be bass fishing or shooting when I’m not riding.
September 12, 2013 at 8:10 pm #249695It has a small creek (no good for Bass)
Pretty sure you’d be able to subdivide the 4 portions if need be.
If you are keen to have a look MLC we can go up there for a ride anytime.I also have this place for sale, similar type of country. Hunt to your hearts content on this place.

September 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm #247863Hi everyone,
I’m the owner of this property, and can answer some questions asked in the thread.
The land is on 4 separate titles, I actually own a 5th block of land which connects this all to Pappinbarra Rd.
There is a right of way through the ‘farm’ block (which Mick is also selling
), and another right of way from Pappinbarra Rd directly onto these forest blocks.
On the 560 acres there are 2 springs and a waterfall, and there may be more, as the old maps show around 8 small creeks on the land.
It was logged about 90 years ago for cedar, and again about 40 years ago, except for the small rainforest portions. There are a lot of old logging trails, some in great condition, some overgrown, and a few of them we have bashed through as singles.
I’m happy to open up the property for anyone wanting to ride and have a look around, preferably with Mick as your guide as only my quad is running at present. It’s really hard to explain the range of challenges here, with some hills to climb, some fast trails, and some really picturesque country.
Let Mick know if you want to come up for a ride, particularly if you are likely to be interested in buying it, or know someone who might be. If I know you are coming up I can unlock the gate 😆
You don’t need a registered bike here, just a spark arrestor on the hot end. The cattle have just been sold from the farm block, and there are some gnarly hills to climb there too.
Thanks for reading this.
