Can anyone help me out with this. The standard 640 Adventure headlights are next to useless. I have done a mod so that both lights come on when I click on the high beam which, has made an improvement but it’s still not brilliant. I think one of the problems is the projector headlight. Not only is it heavy and bulky but it seems to smother what little light the 60w globes push out. Has anyone come up with a good mod for this problem. Can you retrofit better quality high/ low beam lenses. I don’t want to change the look of the bike

Have you thought about adding a set of LED driving lights.
The more expensive have high and low beams and really do a good job. I have them mounted on both the Multistrada and the 690.
Small and inoffensive to mount and can packa a punch for the lower power input.

    Thanks Minusone.
I wouldnt mind the keys to your shed. Although it would be tough to choose what to ride each morning. The lights look real good, do they crank out a fair bit of light and are they brighter than HID

I have just fitted one of these to my 640 adv and its awesome. Really easy to install. I will be putting the other one on soon, so ill try and post a pic. They fit nicely with only one small straight bracket.
Just remember to loctite the heat sink that holds the bracket on at the back as it is, it comes quite loose.

Here is the Ebay link to the items I have purchased.
These are simple and robust with only one beam which is too bright to used as always on running lights.
I have installed dual beams on my other bikes and these are more complicated with many parts/harness to fail (which has happened to me )

Hey Gav, thanks for showing the side view of the spotty.

Looks like the handle bar is on the deck.

The lengths you go to to present a product at all angles is remarkable
