    Location:
    Watagan State Forest, Central Coast.

    Date:
    Saturday 10th October

    Ride description:
It will be an 80km loop ride, starting and finishing at The Pines Camping Area, being a mix of forest trails and some single line tracks. There will be a rolling race at the half way point (winner wins a prize). For those familiar with the area, the ride will include Mt Warrawong, Lynches Fire Trail, Flat Rock Lookout and Harris Trail.

    Grade:
    2-3 (nothing too difficult)

    Meeting place:
The Pines Camping Area on Watagan Forest Road. If instructions are required they can be posted.

    Time:
Departing the camping area at 9 am.

    Additional Info:
There will be a stop at Flat Rock Lookout so newbies may wish to pack a camera.
Could be a warm ride so ensure you have adequate hydration.
Please note that I may decide to cancel the ride if the area experiences heavy rain the day before, in an effort to look after the tracks.

The bike’s engines are turned off and the bikes are allowed to roll down the road. It’s quite safe as they travel quite slowly. The road in question is Hayes Road – quite wide and in good condition.

Well, you’ve got just over two weeks to get your act together. Hopefully you will be over it by then.

Speaking of viruses, I was informed by my GP this morning that the free Swine Flu vaccination will be available Sept 30.

Gotcha. Better tell the eagle to pull his finger out and to have the boat sorted by the 10th, sailing on the 11th. :)
