I’m back to a maybe  I’m coming back from NZ early, so I will see if Tyne can get the day off work. If I’m there, I’m there, if not, well, you will just have to wipe myour tears away and move on. It will be alright.

My weekend was almost sabotaged! I went to pick up my parts today and they had ordered the wrong water pump seal kit! They were just about to order one express from WA when I suggested that they check if there was any out with the mechanics and sure enough they had one! I’m still nervous about starting the bike after my first rebuild though!

I have a visitor staying from the Central Coast, and have been informed that it was blowing a gale down that way this morning.

I always pack a hand saw, but another one or two may come in handy.

Dont forget to put engine oil in when it’s back together
Then just start it and if it sounds OK go for a ride around the block to warm it up & seat the new rings.
I’m sure it will be fine.

    Its not :(

No bad noises but its not starting and I’m too tired to figure out why :(

I’m out for now but I’m taking the bike to the mechanics this morning so we’ll see what they can come up with.

    I know when I’m whooped :(

Hey TW – I am still up for the ride tomorrow as long as the weather isn’t too bad. If it is absolutely pouring down I’ll probably just stay home and watch Bathurst. It is actually pretty miserable here at the moment so I hope it does improve. I haven’t been riding since Louee (it feels longer than 2 weeks ago!) and I am keen to go out.

Are you able to PM me your mobile so that if I am not coming I can ring you and let you know?

Kylie, if you decide to stay in and watch Bathurst and it gets too booring you can nip outside and watch the grass grow. When that gets too exciting you can dive back in and calm down again watching Bathurst! :P

I have learnt it is just as much fun riding in the wet (sometimes even more so) so long as you can keep reasonably warm.
Once soaked you cant get any wetter, so just have fun anyway and lots of people wont ride in the rain so we could have the whole place to ourselves :cheer:
