If it is absolutely pouring down I’ll probably just stay home and watch Bathurst.Kylie, if you decide to stay in and watch Bathurst and it gets too booring you can nip outside and watch the grass grow. When that gets too exciting you can dive back in and calm down again watching Bathurst!

Hey Old Al – are you still riding tomorrow?
Rain hail or shine Kylie. I have been fighting a mystery virus (always wanted one of those
) for a few weeks now and havn’t been able to ride. Am as keen as mustard for tomorrow.

October 9, 2009 at 8:36 am #155770Weather update:
According to the current forecast they are forecasting late showers (1mm) for Saturday:
refer http://www.weather.com.au/nsw/cooranbong
The ride is still on – I’m not a fan of riding in the rain but it would be a shame to cancel only to find the conditions are favourable. Looking at the radar map throughout the day Newcastle has been copping it but not some much on the ranges.
Besides there are a couple of riders who are keen to meet up with us.
Will understand if people decide to pull out at the last minute due to an unexpected change in the weather.
If you have not turned up at the pines RTR 9 am (ready to ride) and I have not been phoned we will expect a rider cancellation. Will PM my mobile to those on the attendance list.

Quote:That’s a bit rough – If you’re reading this, the bill – I think everyone here will agree that police presence at our riding spots only helps the good guys and from what we shared via PM it certainly seemed like that was your approach. I understand you probably can’t be too open about things on here but I think if you introduced yourself a little it’d help people understand that you weren’t here to be big brother watching us. Personally I thought that was pretty clear by the fact that you told us you’d be up thereCheers.[/q
+1 austblue….my youngest boy wears blue (35 yrs old)…… hope you get the bike sorted man….russ

AnonymousTW don’t worry about the rain every good ride organiser always orders some dust suppression pre ride. Shit some organisers order it for during the ride
saves eating dust that way.
I am predicting perfect riding conditions for you all tomorrow.
Hope you all have a safe and enjoyable ride.
October 9, 2009 at 10:35 am #155778Gili and I have just done a quick 3 hours in the Watagans this arvo. Gotta love daylight savings
Let me tell you now the conditions are perfect!! we had a really good ride, plenty of puddles, not a lot of trees down and absolutely no one else out there. You guys will have a blast, enjoy it while the conditions are favorable,as it will soon be turning to dust again.

Enjoy the ride guys and girls :pinch:
October 9, 2009 at 11:16 am #155795Thanks for the track condition update Ollie.
For once dust WON’T be an issue, particularly for the sweep rider. He will have to find something else to whinge about!
Thanks for the blessing DanD. Rest assured, those of us who enjoy the sport will be making the most of the day.
POST CLOSED 10:10 pm.

Apols for upsetting you Squirrel.
Not wishing to come across as the Thread Police, but by the organiser declaring a thread closed, it is a way of informing those attending that there will be no last minute change of plans to the ride. It saves the organiser and the attendees having to check the post early the following morning.
If there is a change of plans by one of those attending, the organiser is only a mobile phone / text away.
Will rethink the wording next time.
