Had a job interview in Geelong this morning so I thought F**kit why not throw the bike in the back of the ute and go for a blast around Anglsea.
Started at the usual spot & found that the first ride down from the car park had been graded and covered in stone, most disappointed as this was usaully to get you up on the pegs and into the mood.
Rode out to the first tracks which were all soft & loamy which was magnificent. Found a new track that I hadn’t ridden before so followed it to see where it lead, after 20 odd k’s found myself back out on the Great Ocean Road. Traveled that for a couple of k’s & found a road that I knew lead back into the heath. Picked up on the tracks that I knew & rode these down into Aireys Inlet for lunch. Rode a couple of tracks back to the car packed up & started the slow trip home.
A bit dissapointed that a few of the good tracks were still closed of as they are usually open by mid Sept but I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Friday
    A few phots

She who must be obeyed wasn’t impressed when she found that I had been riding all day instead of doing what I was supposed to be doing ( friday is usually clean the house day for the unemployed ) and lunch was magnificent especially when I thought of all the people out there working. Chicken parma at the Airies pub is good value at $16 for the size of it. Ice cold beer to add to the pleasure as well.
