Well I may be new here but I like the idea of a thread specific for pics as I do tend to take a fair few when I am out and about as anyone who has seen some of my ride reports posted elsewhere can attest. So, I figure why not add a few pics in here as well.

Have plenty more and may post some later but are racing pics ok (as in Road Race or Supermoto)?

All pics are good Garry. I like the first one of the Adventurer, very professional looking!

The DR looks like a shy teenager on a first date in it’s first pic

A few more from some MotoMayhem and Supermoto meets held over the last few years.

    The quads.
From the MotoMayhem events held through 2007/2008 (and yes, they had scooters on the track)

Now in case it isn’t obvious I do like the Supermoto and rate it very highly, but unfortunately it is not that popular in Australia and as such we see little of it.

Will eventually put up some road race pics as well.

Yep, a top little circuit for the Supermoto as well.

I worked flags at the 2007 round in the bowl where the rides came down the hill, off the dirt, back across the track and onto teh dirt into the sharp left. Saw plent of action there as well. Actually the last Quad pic is from the Newcastle round in ’07.

Shame the promoter had issues and was unable to continue in 2008 which ended up with a three round series (Qld, Vic and WA).

Nope but I am an official and also help run a lot of the practice days when they are on weekends (although I take time off work occasionally). Being an official gets me close to teh track and I am lucky enough that I often get my choice of flag point or relative free reign of the track (when not flagging I am generally either a gopher or work the recovery vehicles/pickup).

Being so close I can get some pics from angles that spectators cannot get to, although there are hazards and I have nearly been hit a few times by fallen bikes or riders (when flagging that is).

Will sort through the road race pics later and post a few.

    Cool,
I live bout 5ks from the Cameron Park Track, at Minmi. Wondered why it stopped for 08, it drew some top riders & classic action there, any sort on Moto stuff is popular round Newy & the Hunter.
Soooo many legends come from around here, I can name quite a few, but you all know who they are:)
    Cheers

Our club has trouble getting flaggies.I cannot understand why. The action you see from a flag point is awesome, your photos are testimate to that!! Sweet pics!!.. If any of you OLDbulls get the chance do some flag marshaling at a local track, do it and you will enjoy every minute of it. I love doing it.

Before I get to the Road Racing pics let me post a few I took from the Wollongong MCC Championship round held at Mount Kembla. I had never been to a Motocross event or really even watched any but reading it was on I decided to go out for a look and came away mightily impressed by the spectacle. Needless to say I had the camera.

Never having seen Motocross, the little kids amazed me as I would have been crapping myself with some of the jumps they pulled and height they got. Was a lesson thaht I learnt and I will get back when the season starts up again (all permitting).

Again, sweet pics Garry, you take a very good photo, good position or not :)

I like the one above, it looks like his tyre is about to come off!

That was one of the practice days for MotoMayhem in 2007 and the quads sure had fun whilst putting on a show. Most of them saw me there (it is the point where they leave the tar and go onto the dirt) with the camera and decided to put on a nice little show. Was great to watch and no incidents resulted, although one did get closer to flipping than they wanted.

While I enjoy taking pics and try to get some good one, the full credit goes to the camera as all I do is point andshoot (god I love digital cameras), but definite thanks for the compliment.
