Went for a ride at Anglesea to test the new suspension on the DRZ.Left early (7.00) as I was keen to ride, even traveled down with the riding gear on to save time when I got there. Started on a few familiar tracks and the bike felt great, climbed a few hills and traveled some sandy loam tracks and felt realy comfortable, checked the speedo and was surprised that I had covered 30k’s. Had a break and decided to have a go at a track I hadn’t treid before, took off and felt rain drops through the open face, looked up and thought oh shit got hit by a monster storm. Started the return journey as the rain was getting heavier. Got soaked to the skin but the bike still handled well even though the tracks hed turned greasy. traveled a short cut back to the main road only to find it was closed and dug up for pipe laying, had to go another 10k’s to get around it and back to the car what a great site it was.
Really enjoyed the ride up until it pissed rain on me, the new suspension is greatbest $550 I’ve spent for a while, the new Pirelli scorpian worked well keeping traction even on the greasy trails.
Looking forward to the snow now that the prep work has been done on the bike

The drinking skills I’ve got down to a fine art but still practice make perfect, it’s only the riding skills that still need polishing. Chad really knows his stuff all the preload was done on the bench only had to bolt it all back together put my arse on the saet and go. Would recomend him to anyone.
