AnonymousOur day started early on Saturday. We were both awake at 5.30am in preparation of our breakfast date at Shoal Bay.
We left home at around 6.50am and headed towards the Bay. It took us about an hour to get to our breakfast location, which gave KD some good bike time to get used to the DRZ motard.
The ride up to the Bay was fairly good except for a bit of fog.
We got to Shoal Bay and went to a restaurant that Kylie went to the weekend before last. The food was great and so was my company.
It was interesting to sit and watch everyone walk past, as everyone including peoples dogs stopped to have a look at KD’s motard. There was one bloke who didn’t look and I think it was because he preferred scooters (you know what I mean)
After we had our breakfast Kylie decided that she wasn’t ready to go straight home so after visiting her brother quickly at Boat Harbour we headed back towards Raymond Terrace and then out to Kurri Kurri then home via the Gap Servo.
I don’t know how many K’s we done but it was an enjoyable mornings ride.
Only a scooter rider wouldn’t look at the DRZ
My breakfast date
A coke and a smoke at The Gap servo
Kylie at The GapWe were home by around 11.00am as it was starting to get a bit hot for riding. I will probably look at motarding the WR next year so we can do more road riding when the weather is too hot for the bush.
That will be our last ride till after Christmas nowas every weekend is full of other stuff now.
