couple of us met some mates that travelled up from the newcastle area for a ride this weekend.i left home at about 5.30 saturday evening to travel the 50ks and camp the night, ready for an early start sunday, trip up was exciting to say the least,, driving up the dirt road and i noticed an orange glow on the side of the road,, the truck was on fire,i had left a rag under the bonnet and the turbo lit it up,,,gota love having a fire extinguisher behind the seat, disaster averted.
We only road about 80ks today due to the sore heads but they were an excellent 80 ks.

no major mishaps and no breakages.
took a few happy snap for those interested..

its a good spot however if it rains between now and the trip there will be some people doing mud slides, cause god its getting slippery now, and we havent had rain for a while, snow predicted this week,,
