he must be proud. i bet you bragged to him that your mate menace has the original and how good it is!  :laugh:good report, pal. you are learning:P
July 13, 2009 at 6:21 am #143382yeh his motorcycle was very impressive in the power department, had no problem picking the wheel up in the taller gears, however I didnt think it was suited to the really tight first and second gear stuff nundle has, defently tourquey 4 stroke trails.

Your mates KTM It’s a 300?? and it doesn’t have TORQUE right off the bottom?? something wrong there, cause the 300 is a slow revvin’ torque monster as a rule, with oodles of low-end luggability.
I hate that special brand of yellow slimy clay that has a thin layer of grease then hardpack sliminess underneath so when you’re doing 40 in top on a smoker and back off the throttle a little it compression locks and there’s not a goddamn thing you can do to stay on the bike for longer than 20 seconds at a time, and gentle throttle openings in top at idle produce instant pipe and spin, then you fall off as the wheels go two different directions while you’re on a staright bit and then you can’t get the bike up cause your boots slide everywhere, and cornering means finding a solid anything to bounce off… that stuff Sh!ts me to tears, ’bout the only time i’ll pack up and go somewhere else.
It’s everywhere in the border ranges, some laugh and crash, then cry and crash, Me i just look for traction where I can.
Still a good report Mr Boon.

you know you want one boony, come out of the closet:P

you just described the open stuff we were on yesterday,ie;look for something to bounce off to get around a corner, and I do hear you about that yellow clay, there is one hill on our trec in a fortnight that if it continues to rain and I`m lead and I get to the top I( will definatley being posting some interesting photos, the ground looks so easy to ride but you actually end up going backwards, andme mates KTM 300 was fine I was just taking the piss out of spidy,,got the responce i thought i would.
