Here is a link you can use to check results on the 4 day. I’ve been following the results since I got back home on friday night. It does not seem to show the overall results at the end of the last day though.

When I was at the event on thurs & fri I was impressed by the effort from the girls. Most of them were petite shorties that rode like the wind and had to slide one cheek off the seat to be able to touch the ground.

The OBMCC organisers were doing a fantastic job and have been working their buts off for months. Congratulations boys and girls for a top job.

seen some classic bikes at the 4day racing there was 1 xr400 and afairly trashed drz400 that houred out and a 92 or 93 wr200 the same as axles that was going okay when i saw it on the pipe all the way and showing up some of the other bikes .

Rocket you forgot to mention the old 98 RMX Suzuki standard everything.

I went out to have a look around on Saturday Arvo but didnt see any Old Bulls,I think Mal was just getting in as I drove off but I did manage to have a quick chat to Trent Lean, Charlie from Barrington trail tours,Rick Braico and Jess Gardiner. Everyone was raving about the track layout and how well the event was being run. Congrats to Rick Braico and all of the helpers. ;)
A special rapp must go to Daniel Milner (suzuki RMZ)his first 4 day and was running 6th when I last checked :woohoo:
Congrats also to Mal and the other Old Bulls for having a go well done.

What about KTM taking out all 3 classes.

TBs man Grabbo with the E3 win.

Old man Ballard with the 16th fastest outright at the final motocross, he did something like this at last years 4day the old freak

I remember Geoff Ballard last year looking smooth and real fast as he destroyed the field in the final moto. Awesome stuff.

Good to hear Benny did well too :)

Does anyone know what model bike Geoff Ballard was using?

I saw him pit, and it had conventional forks on it? I always thought he raced a wr450.

GB has really outlasted all his contemporaries, he was one of the fast boys back in the day, but he kept going where the others called it quits, for that reason alone he is a true legend, in the pure form of the word. He was old when I was young too.

    Respect Old Bloke.

It is a WR alright, it has TTR forks in it though. I think it was TB he was talking to and he said that the conventional forks have less flex than the USD’s.

Interesting he might be onto something and with less leaking seals, he’d know having been racing for so long & gotta admire he’s dedication.

Yeah i was standing in front and thought no way hes not riding a TTR ! But couldn’t see the frame.

Other way around Mick, USD’s have no flex and either does an alloy frame. You end up with a bike that has no flex great for a supercross or motocross track with berms to rail. There is more to the explanation and it makes sense when explained

I thought he just does it to prove a point, that being that upside down forks are not all they are cracked up to be, not for enduro anyway, he could probably still go alright on a TTR.
