It was such a blast that I can`t remember them allMarch 23, 2009 at 8:57 am #126462March 23, 2009 at 9:17 am #126463What a great day of riding that was had by all!!!
I am super stoked that I actually rode my bike over 300kms in 1 day on 1 ride. This is officially the longest ride I have done as the actual rider not as a pillion
For me to have succeeded in this huge personal milestone, I have to Thank a few Old Bulls out there.

Firstly, Thank you TB for everything, for your exceptionally well planned ride, for you amazing passion & commitment, for your continual smiles all day and for encouraging me to go on this ride.

An absolutely huge Thank you to Boulder and to Yakka, our fantastic sweeps. You both literally “ate my dirt” for most of the day. I am really happy that you didn’t need to help me up from any falls, just the gps wiggling out of its cradle! :cheer:
Thank you to Eagle & Ashleigh, for being our support crew too. Just having you there if we needed you was a wonderful luxury I really enjoyed. It’s great to see you guys had a great day too even though we didn’t get to see you too often. :cheer:
And lastly a huge Thank you to all the Old Bull guys and girl that rode yesterday for making it a fantastic day. The company was great and continuous smiles and laughs all day are testament that everyone was enjoying the day.

As I am working on gaining more confidence the best way I know how and that is to ride more, Champo & I are planning to go riding next weekend at Barleigh Ranch, Raymond Terrace on Sunday as the track is open as a riding park. Anyone who wants to join us, just let us know and we can meet up
Thank you for another great ride OBT :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

A big thanks to Eagle for his support act, karma coming your way!! Thanks to Champo and Tracy for lunch. Fun was had by all. This was OBT doing what it does best. looking forward to the next one :woohoo:

in one of your photos that you and ash took. it looks like there is someone standing on the rockMarch 23, 2009 at 10:16 am #126562I had a ball. Thanks TB for some more great trails, Boulder and Yakka for making sure everone made it through, and thanks everone else in between for the company on the trails.
What a great bunch to ride with, cheeky enough for some fun on the trails but everyone seemed to know there limits. I did get some good laughs out of some of the big skids coming into corners,. I had a few of those moments myself.

my support team did quite well
they went to rounds 1 and 2 of the state enduro titles futher down the road.
they won all classes entered and only got beaten by stephen merrimen for the overall.
not bad for some riders with ‘normal’ weekday jobs on 2 strokes from a small italian partnership of 2 mates -
