NickJ purchased one of these recently from me after having a SPOT Tracker.
The SPOT has some good features but doesn’t run off the COSPAS SARSAT satellite network and they don’t transmit a 406mhz signal once activated. All Rescue Helicopters have the ability to home in on the 406mHz signal so combining that with a GPS coordinates supplied to rescue operators by AMSA once activated it will save time during an emergency. Food for thought.

I’m happy with mine Turnstyle as I don’t need the tracking feature that the Spot has I save in the annual subscription that Spot charge.

I had a decent off last weekend and if Ev hadn’t got service to call the ambo I’d have been very happy to have that button to press !!

$399 for the whole kit and the battery lasts 6 years !! bargain
