Adv Wyong to Denman Sat 28 Aug

Righty-o

We are riding from Braithwaite Park just west of Wyong and having lunch in Denman then coming back.

Leaving from the park at 7am and it will be an all day affair.

There will be no fuel stops so I expect a fuel range of 280km.

Other bike requirements: a working headlight.

I will most likely trailer to Lotsa’s place and go to and from with the pack.. I’ll ride sweep as I plan on taking it easy so I don’t mess the knee up again.. :ohmy: :ohmy:

I will have KMZ and GPX files from the putty meet point to Denman and also an alternate route back via commission rd ready this evening.. They should be coming your way via email tonight Lotsa..

Anyone else who wants them send me your email address via PM…

I know that from the where you pop out at putty rd from the yengo to denman via putty it will be 125 K’s.. Not sure what the K’s are from Wyong to that point as I do not know the exact route.

Put your bike on the trailer and follow Owl 2 and Owl 1 as they trailer theirs to the Putty turn off where you, Krusty and I waited for Lotsa and Mickp when they didnt turn up. Get hold of Krusty he is organising the Owl’s to meet there

Lake Munmorah – Braithwaite park Wyong 25km
Braithwaite park to Ourimbah SF, Yarramalong, Cedar Brush Creek, Murrays Run then Laguna 63km
Laguna to Howes Valley via Yengo and Howes valley trail 48km
Howes Valley to Putty Valley Rd. 25km

Don’t know the distance from Putty Valley Rd to Denman???
Hey Kat, what sort of distance do you get from your standard tank? Carry an empty coke bottle and we would be able to transfer fuel. If Krusty says its 125km from Putty Valley rd to Denman and its 73km from laguna to PVR then 200km would be the range (provided Laguna store is open for fuel). Shit its going to be another BIG day, better get my Airhawk seat organized :ohmy:

Mick has a big tank just use his :laugh:
It’s easy to swap fuel, just park side by side and join fuel taps with clear hose.
That way when youré finished you can use as a sight glass to see how full one is.

Hi Mick…. Crowded eh? It will be hard to take it easy but I would rather go easy then miss out on the corner..

I have a really good idea from TB on the route from Wyong to the putty rd so I’ll map it just to get the kilometers.. At-least we will know a good estimate of the K’s before hand…

There also seems to be some concern about accessing the commission rd via Applet Tree Flat.. I suggested we return that way for something different… We could always go left at raspberry junction on the return which will take us to the commission rd as well…
