    The’re off and running

Yeaterday I drove down due to my busted wing and got to St Albans about 5.30pm. Everyone rolled in, dribs and drabs, shortly after. The kitchen got a workout cooking 20 or so medium rare T bones and there were drinks and chat all round.

It was good for me to put some names to faces and have a general chat.

Everyone dawdled off to bed for an early start the next day and actually got away early today too.
There was some talk of not taking the hard route on the GPS due to some information that came to light overnight.

A bit of drizzle this morning should keep the dust down while it lasts.

Shaping up for the good ride. Wish I was going.

Just following the spot. Looks good so far. I wish I was on this one but had already signed up for a pushy ride tomorrow.

All made it to Bathurst safe and sound, great riding and no real problems for anyone today. Drinks and a feed underway.

It’s a two day ride so probably back at St Albans or on their way home wherever they came from

    #231945

In rhylstone now for breakfast. Some will split off and head home this arvo and others are staying back at St. Albans. Bridle track done and dusted, that should probably be done and dusty really, plenty of it about today.

Back home now, not sure where the rest are. My ride partner MT’s bike died just outside of denman so I towed him to a nearby rest area and went into town to pick him up some food and drink while he waited for his rescue party.

All up 812km over the 2 days with plenty of dirt and a number of $&@t moments for me.

Still here waiting Cob. Thanks for good riding we had . Pity about my bike. First one to blow up in 40 years of riding. There will be another day I guess when I will hit the trails again.

    Who’s picking up MT

I can get him if he’s planning to spend the night at a rest area

I know his camper is at St Albans

Let me know, I’m just about to crack a can
