ADVENTURE RIDER TRAINING WITH STEPHEN GALL

Stephen Gall, five times Australian Motocross Champion and Four times Mr Motocross, is one of Australia’s leading Off Road trainers and the original founder of ‘The Academy of Off Road’ rider training.
Stephen has signed up with the Ride ADV team with support from Yamaha Australia and Adventure Moto and developed a two day program and training course for Adventure Riders.
The first four courses for 2014 will be run out of the rider training grounds in Dargle (Sydney) on the following dates with more dates and venues to follow for 2015.

– May 24 and 25
– July 26 and 27
– August 9 and 19
– September 27 and 28

ALL ADVENTURE BIKES AND RIDERS WELCOME… This is not a brand based rider program so it doesn’t matter if you ride the latest KTM, BMW or YAMAHA or if you ride the most loved DR650. As long as your bike is registered and you hold a valid rider licence you are welcome to participate.
THE COURSE OUTLINE is broken up into a two day program of intensive onsite training on day one with a supported Ride ADV adventure ride on day two with Instructors guiding and critiquing your new skills in real life conditions.

YOU WILL LEARN…
– Safety, Set-Up and Bike Control
– Weight Distribution and Bike Ergonomics – Throttle, Clutch and Brake Control
– Cornering and Flow Line
– Terrain Awareness
– Hill Management and Control

This is a Motorcycle Australia approved course and includes two full days adventure rider training and supported ride with Stephen Gall, lunch on Saturday included with an optional participants dinner on Saturday night with Gally and Clubby from Trailzone Magazine. Also attending will be Wolfy from Adventure Moto and Greg Yager from Ride ADV.

DISCOUNTED ACCOMMODATION is available through the Sydney Hills Holiday Park

WEEKEND COURSE COST is $495.00 per participant on your own bike which includes lunch on Saturday (excludes other meals). Bikes must have tyres suitable for riding off pavement and fueled up for the day.

Yeah Eags the work behind this had been amazing. To have a level two coach with Stephens experience is awesome. Without the support and help from our sponsors it couldn’t have happened. Compared to the same courses run by BMW etc it is cheap. I am so looking forward to attending it having seen how professional he is and what he has done.

Yes I must say that this is a great opportunity for those riders who would like to improve their skills on an Adventure Bike. To have a Stephen gall as a teacher is amazing as he is a master of his profession. I am sure that we can all learn something from him. As I say “Every day is a School Day”
