January 25, 2010 at 8:03 am #169191Now i have my tank sorted what exhaust should i buy?
January 25, 2010 at 8:05 am #169433Why do you need a pipe? What are you after, performance, bling, noise increase ?? What is the price range??
TB
January 25, 2010 at 8:09 am #169434More performance mate.I didnt do it when i purchased the bike because i didnt have the cash.I dont want it to be to loud tho.And of course the bling factor.Price isnt really an issue.

AnonymousIf your looking for a pipe Aido – Barrett pipes are good for when you flip your bike and punch great holes in them – they can actually be repaired (so I have ben told  )
January 25, 2010 at 9:40 am #169444What a glowing endoresment
.I have been looking at some pipes from the states but i dont really know what im looking for at this stage
January 25, 2010 at 9:41 am #169445Barrett do make a good pipe, Australian made and heaps of different colour and cap colour options
I would also recommend a staintune, I like mine and the packing doesnt fail apart like re packable exhausts
I can maybe get you a deal on a Barrett if your interested

January 25, 2010 at 9:48 am #169448Im interested. The exhaust im looking at from the states is a FMF anodized titanium power core silencer.$340 US delivered.Sounds very impressive but i dont know a thing

AnonymousSeriously Aido – to look at my pipe after I had done this you would think that it would of been a throw away. But one of our members BigT straightened it welded it and got it all lined back up to fit back on the bike.
KD has a Staintune on the DR and they are well made pipes too. You couldn’t go to far wrong with either.
I did have a GYTR on my TTR when I had it which was infact just a re-badged TK pipe – only I probably paid an extra $200 for the privlidge of having GYTR on it
Shop around there are plenty of good pipes out there, and nearly all pipe makers would have a listing for a WR.

I take it you did have a full tank when you set out???
BoonyI have an 09 WR450 that gets 80k’s to reserve and drains out at just over 90. So your economy is on par with every other 09 model. I to am considering an after market tank, nothing too big, probably 13 litres.
