After testing MickP`s Airhawk a while back on the ride to the Blue Mountains & stopover at TB`s place, I decided to bite the bullet and grab on of my own.
As luck would have it, a small cruiser model up local in Newy secondhand at a great reduced price ;)

A guy had bought it for his F800GS and it was too large for his cutaway seat (he used it only once)
Then he bought a smaller pilion model Airhawk,,,,

Anyway, the other option I had was a $200 odd replacement seat cover which I was uncertain of, as I would like to run the standard seat just for day rides normally. This is where the Airhawk comes in handy, it can be stored in my backpack and whacked on at anytime I feel the urge
I recommend them for sure, and the inflation level is quick & easy to adjust to suit your needs on a day to day basis (or hourly if you feel like it) 😆

I also liked the Airhawk I used on the 1st Cameron ride when I was riding a DRZ. Once you get used to the sensation of sitting on air and convince yourself you haven’t soiled yourself you hardly know they are their !!

They have small straps that run under the standard seat, adjustable and simply hook to the sides of the cushion cover ;)
Easily suited to more than one bike seat too ,,,

I might add that I ran the Airhawk on yesterdays 240k, with not much more than the amount of air in it in that pic (needs stuff all air) It moulds to your ass shape, like a lumber support cushion for a seat in your car or truck B)

    Cheers

does it tame those nasty old ‘royds Eags… :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

how do you blow it up? with your mouth or a pump?

any possibility of poppin it on a hard landing/stack?

Unsure Spidy, I don`t have roydys, but you can check if you like :P

Mouth, unscrew the ltlle lock on the valve and breath in lightly

any possibility of poppin it on a hard landing/stack?

Maybe, with your big ass  :P
They are really quite tough bladders (but do come with a puncture kit)
The amount of air I ran, it would be virtually impossible to pop,,, unless you overinflate it I guess ????

    Yes Boony

Get one of these for the pumpkin & you would almost believe you are back on the DRZ except for the weight, the detuned performance, the only OK handling, the color etc etc. 👿 👿 👿
