    I think the other bike specific one is a fair bit better

    I think you will find they are identical just not waterproof… Has the latest Whereis on it.. Its the Maps that matter in the end imo..

    I havent seen one of the new ones in the flesh Krusty but from talking to Boulder as he was trying to mount his they sound different. Also if they are selling a water proof case they have to be different cause last years (same as I use are water proof, I tested it :laugh: ) Also my understanding they look pretty different if my info is correct

    Yeah, That is what I thought about them too,,,,
    The current one looks a tidy unit, but water & dust proof is more important, as is the sun shroud thingy over the screen I think ;)

    Anyone seen or have one of the older models around they want to part with ????

    I would buy a second one they are that good ! I found a slight problem with the cradle charger vibrating and loosing contact but it’s fixed. And as TB said they seem to know as much as any map and more than the $500 strike( price of shit ) I bought and returned !

    Hey Eagle, If you go to the Aldi website they are selling the waterproof covers that have a handle bar mount for $ 9.95.
    This should make them much the same as the old ones but with the latest maps.

    But I see some bad reviews for the current model :blink:
    I will hold off & maybe pick one of the older models up somewhere,,,, or I will just get an upmarket Garmin oneday :whistle:
