I was under the impression it was the SX only that went this way

Yes because of the Jeremy McGrath super cross thing and US sales, but the person that told me that also said they heard that it would possibly go over the whole range because of the benefits and cheaper and easier shock absorber setup etc it could happen

anyone know of the 690 riders and how the linkage has changed if at all from the 2002 640’s?

the LC4’s have been linage all along.

has it been developed over the last 7 years or just upgraded parts i.e. materials used?

valving, spring rates etc. changed in the 7 years?

i know the LC4 is a diff. animal to a MX tuned bike, but how hard is it to adopt the tech. they’ve used in the bigger bike to the lighter ones?

IMO. KTM may not go to linkage on public sale bikes until they’ve seen the results of the MX team bikes etc. and sorted any gremlins.

what rear suspension have the Manufactures used that use the KTM engines?

if linkage type they could use their data to tune their set up.
