G’day Ladies and gents.
Have to say I have been having the odd look over what you lot are doing for a few months now, should have joined up then. Congrats to the crew that are putting this together, it’s awesome.
A bit about me then hey, been riding a while and still put the odd lap in, even front the start gates every now and then. Kind of tied up with HVMCC, and if this doesn’t give my ID away, I have recently discovered the blessing that god has provided through machinery designed and built by KTM!!!!
I have to make it clear that I am not much of a computer man, in fact I am about as handy as a torn brake line.
Speaking of not being handy with the computer, I am also not real handy with techo stuff in general (a dud I know). Has anyone got any info or ideas on decent handlebar GPS’s for trailriding. I also get lost easy!!!
O’h and if anyone needs decent tyres, sing out, I have been using MxRetreads for ages now….. that’s not sounding like an advert is it??????
Cheers
see ya out there

January 15, 2010 at 10:32 pm #168304Welcome Busy, another from around Wauchope eh. Good luck flogging those retreads, ollie here on the site flogs them. January 15, 2010 at 10:41 pm #168308Thanks TB, I bought a new 09 EXC250 (2 Smoker). Had been bouncing valves for a over ten years so wanted to try something different. The plan was to prep it to ride the Four Day this year (anyone interested?) but I am not sure a 2 smoker would be the thing to ride at a Four Day, well not in my shape anyway…

You seem very misguided Busy.
You’ll fit in well here, welcome buddy
January 16, 2010 at 5:48 am #168331Welcome to the site Busy
Plenty of rides going on around Wauchope all the time,as a matter of fact had a Pearler a couple of weekends ago in the rain, mud and slop and as can be seen in a couple of shots the Gasser got up every hill and the MXRetreads offered plenty of traction even though it is due to be changed out soon. Plenty of us weekend trail hacks on here use them
Hope you come armed with a thick skin mate, as a fair amount of sh#t is flung around  as long as you give as good as you get, and everyone comments, advice and words of wisdom are treated fairly.
Have a good one and I will catch up with ya soon enough
Ollie

Don’t mind this lot, some of them are tools (said in the nicest possible way) Try owning an XR and see the crap you have to endure from the peanut gallery  One thing you didn’t mention is that you can peddle that bloody Kato of yours pretty well
There are a few blokes on here considering the A4DE, there is a couple of threads on here running regarding the matter. Catch you soon.
