    Good report guys and nice to see some pics. Like TB I’m highly jealous that I missed out :(

    Mick – I had to laugh at your report, giving some beans on a corner for show and landing on your arse. I burst out laughing here at work reading that :P

    An awesoem effort by all from the sounds of it, glad you all had a great time, I will get out to the next one.

    Ollie – I hope you sort the machine out mate :( I’m you and Gili can make a new bottom end :laugh:

    Yeah, I don’t know what the go is missing whole words out! I seem to have fixed the mis-spelled words to just leaving them out completly. I might degenerate into posting blank posts soon :P

    It was that dry, swimming holes where few and far between

    I pulled the engine out of the bike yesterday and delivered it to Macleay motorcycles for a strip down,Got the dreaded phone call this arvo (great service boys B) )

    When the chain derailed it instantly locked up the gearbox,I was in third at the time rounding up the 4 stroke gasser, the shock loading on third gear and the driven gear was extreme which caused a couple of teeth to sheer off the cogs:ohmy: This has not been heard of on a gasser before as the gearbox is a very sturdy unit
    maybe Im just hard on bikes:dry: still have to find out what it is going to cost me,I will be happy if it is under $500. Labor is $65 an hour which is reasonable.
    will let you all know the outcome when I find out.
    BTW I also handed out a wad of the OB flyers:P just doin my bit

    Not good Ollie, do you know why the chain came of in the first place?
    You still on holidays up there are you? What a life, lol :laugh: good on ya, see you at the Hillend ride and good luck with the Gasser.

    Bad luck Ollie, no wonder it was making a noise then!! Definately something we wouldn’t have been able to fix out in the bush, you are lucky it happened where it did and not out near Swans crossing. Then again RiderX probably would have a couple of Gas Gas gears in the magic bumbag of his….LOL

    Ouch, snapped teeth in the gearbox :( Hope it gets sorted without costing you a mint mate. At least you have 19 other bikes to ride if you get stuck. If things get really bad you might have to ship one of your ‘international’ rides over :laugh:

    Noticed the chain was a bit loose at Swans crossing but not to bad, I did adjust it the nite before during my preps.

    Still on Holidays until the 27th,but have a lot of shit to sort out.(missus still not happy about buying the DRZ whilst in NZ:blink: )

    I am now a no show on the Hillend ride:( sorry Boyz) but I have to do another trip up the coast that weekend.(not bike related)
