Greetings old bulls.
I’m a bit of a trail hack from Newcastle. Just got on board the Berg 390 and am loving being out on the trails…..just gotta work on my downhills….most people could walk down a hill faster than I ride.
Looking to get out pretty well every weekend and even the odd arvo ride after work.
I dont really dig the summer riding though…would prefer to surf while it’s stinking hot but will make the most out of the cooler days through the summer.
Love exploring new areas with smaller easy going groups.
I’ve signed up for Puddles ride this weekend. Looking forward to meeting some new riders and riding some new trails.
Cheers,
BrendanOctober 14, 2009 at 3:55 am #156366G’day mate welcome aboard! Probably a good thing I didn’t get to ride with you this weekend or I might’ve bought that 390 on monday! I’ll be riding somewhere local again next saturday too so maybe we’ll catch up then if you like.
BTW why didn’t you use the same handle as you do on DBW

October 14, 2009 at 4:01 am #156376G’day Bmacca, a very nice choice of Motorbicycle is the Husaberg FE390, if one was to actually comtemplate a 4T, that would be the one, one would contemplate…….
Would be as lithe as a Ninja one would imagine……….

October 14, 2009 at 4:05 am #156382Ha ha….yes Gents its the sexualninja from DBW…but I cant be too obvious lol.
Yeah Austblue, next weekend should be fine. One ride of 390 is all you need….actually you dont even need to ride the thing to own one, just look at the specs and the pics. That was enough for me and not regretting it in the slightest. This bike is a keeper.
October 14, 2009 at 4:06 am #156383Thanks for the intro Brendan,it was good to have a yarn on the phone with you to.See ya on Saturday mate. You’ll love it.

Murph the surfOctober 14, 2009 at 4:24 am #156386Sorry Murph you can have that close out all to your self. Legge Point, Swansea Channel, Blackies Breakwall, One Mile and 2nd creek are usually on my hitlist…..I’m a bit jaded after too many north coast surf trips
October 14, 2009 at 4:28 am #156368Welcome bmacca the newy crew is on the move for sure

Well we probably wont run into each other in the surf as my stomping ground starts at Crabs Creek in the north and ends around Norah head. My two best spots are Catho point and Ghosties but as you know sometimes you have to wait along time before the moons align and things go off :woohoo:
Will more than likely catch up on one of the many OBT rides
Cheers
Murph the surfOctober 14, 2009 at 5:17 am #156393One of the best surf I ever had was down your way at Birubi point,us goofy footers just love left handers!!
October 14, 2009 at 8:16 am #156394ah ghosties, still waiting to be around the area when the moon aligns for that place.

AnonymousWelcome to OBT mate, you certainly live in the right area to get out on plenty of rides. I will look forward to seeing you on the trails.
I think the Berg is the best looking bike on the market bar none! I was sorely tempted to get one, but then I was drawn away to the dark side at the last minute

Looking to get out pretty well every weekend and even the odd arvo ride after work. I like this.

Love exploring new areas with smaller easy going groups. I like exploring but corner man is fun.
