I know that I have posted about this place before but it is pretty much the only place left for me to ride that is easily accessible and leaves me as a law abiding citizen. I wasn’t going to post it up but I figured what the heck everybody loves pictures. I didn’t take any so I have blatantly plagerised another blokes ride report. The photos are in no particular order.
The hill on the way to the caves. Not that steep but a little technical switch back catches a few out.
Looking down the bottom third of Horse Power Hill. As always it is a LOT steeper than the photo indicates.
Me turning around in the same spot. Trying to get into the rut so I can get on safely.
The view from the top. (No I didn’t make it, yet again had to take the easy way up)
Apparently the boys thought I was sleeping in on Sunday. I was the first to be ready though. Breakfast cooked, eaten, dressed and on the bike by 8.30am waiting.
They also seem to think this was part of the reason I was sleeping in. I need to learn to hide evidence. Didn’t seem that important though at 3.30am.
Various shots of the enduroX track. Didn’t trust my sense of direction/balance to have a go on the teetor totter on Sunday. I know, I’m a pussy. The last photo is the top of the Ghost Run.
November 23, 2010 at 3:41 am #191223More to come. I have some videos. I just need to do some investigation on how to post them.
November 23, 2010 at 3:48 am #191224November 23, 2010 at 3:52 am #191225The run up to the caves. The first bloke on the green machine makes it look a lot harder than it really is but hey as long as you make it everything is sweet. Maybe it was the bike that made it hard.

The teetor tottor followed by some time on the Ghost Run track.
November 23, 2010 at 3:54 am #191226One of the single trail loops. Fireball Bash. We were riding in the wrong direction.

Another loop. Wallaby Run.
November 23, 2010 at 3:58 am #191227Posting videos is easy. Just put in the web address. Anyway we all had a great time on and off the bikes. Managed to get two full days riding in and one full nights drinking. Took a couple of days for the stomach to come good when we got home.
Bike played up just after lunch on day 1. Wouldn’t start. Thought I must have done my first plug. Changed it, still no go. Ended up taking drain plug out of carby and presto fired straight up. Ran a bit sick after that though. Didn’t like any load at all and doughy. Just what I needed on the hills. Looks like I’m about to learn how to clean a carby this week.

November 23, 2010 at 7:34 pm #191229Good write up Bundyroy, you know a hills steep when the bloke has to run down it when he drops his bike.
November 24, 2010 at 12:20 pm #191230Good Write up Roy. That is the first time I have seen horse power it sure looks like you need commitment. I have heard you need to be doing at least 80 at the bottom to have any chance? Nice to see a few guys do the same thing on header pipe as me. Who was that on the BMW I thought Jim had an 800? Or has he caught the bug again?
November 24, 2010 at 7:34 pm #191231The bloke on the BMW was Petta from Wee Waa. First time I had met him or seen a BMW. Looked like it was a good bit of gear and seemed to handle and drive well. He got it for $8900 on the road new with a full set of riding gear thrown in including boots. I think it was a 2010 model too. It all has a 2 year waranty including the riding kit and boots. Can’t go past that for value.
No point hitting Horse Power at 80 as it is too rough to carry the speed far anyway. Flat in 2nd gear is about it.
November 25, 2010 at 1:39 am #191232Great report Roy :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
Gotta get up there to bike territory soon
Bol :woohoo:
