August 22, 2009 at 8:57 pm #149595I only rode to Port Macquarie and bought a new set of boots. Had big plans for today, but when I walked out of the bike shop I noticed the counter shaft seal is leaking,so I am now waiting on the seal.
When i got back from Port,I took my daughter out to Moose’s place to blow the cobwebs out of her little Kato on the flat track.August 22, 2009 at 9:42 pm #149596Am going out on the NX today with the young bloke, am hoping to go up the putty and suss out a new way that I have been told makes the A track seem like a 4 lane freeway  although the scans on my shoulder on Friday arvo have shown the tear getting bigger maybe shouldnt
be interested when I see the surgeon Tuesday

August 22, 2009 at 10:03 pm #149601I rode up and down the driveway, does that count?
August 22, 2009 at 10:27 pm #149602Yep had a great ride in the Maria NP scouting tracks for a Kundabung to Plomer Rd ride. For those interested, I found the bridge that crosses the Maria river. It’s quite solid but has about an eight foot long gap in the middle. The good news is I got permission to use the Ushers land and got through from Berangi Road to Maria River road and from there it’s only a short road stint to Limeburners and through to Plomer road. Happy Days

August 23, 2009 at 2:04 am #149607I went out yesterday.? Scratched around in a quarry and the surrounding areas. Found a few S/t’s that looped the Quarries (2 of), plenty of climbs…was VERY HOT here yesterday…Had the Fan working hard on the Husky and the Camel bag was near on hitting Drought conditions after 2 hrs..Another HOT STILL day here today so Binned the plans of single tracks in the HIlls. might have to get a decent light and go night rides this year to beat the Heat.
