did you take the two wheeled compressor out mate, did you get blown round much??
August 23, 2009 at 8:49 am #149677Yes i took the two wheeled compressor.it was a pleasant short ride weather was fine with no wind.Dont know what was on at calder park but there was cars everywhere.
August 23, 2009 at 8:49 am #149678I took the wooly beemer out today through Ourimbah forest and up to Jerrys for a cappucino, as one does.
It was perfect for a criuse through the bush and country side.August 23, 2009 at 8:55 am #149679Gili and I took some mesh some steel pegs a Machete and a chainsaw down Panadol Hill and repaired some ruts and built a bridge to stop the erosion happening. The walk out back up Panadol give me a headache and nearly heart failure:blink: We then went to our secret track and rode down it and hooked it up with another beauty, although this new bit of track is not for the faint hearted easily grade 5 all up we did 35kms on the bikes and about 5 kms on foot.Bloody hot and dusty. On the way home we nearly cleaned up a couple of kids on MX bikes:angry: riding up the main Watagan Forest Rd and they wonder why we are losing riding areas:( Thats my rant
Im going to bed Im rooted:unsure:

Quote:Yep had a great ride in the Maria NP scouting tracks for a Kundabung to Plomer Rd ride. For those interested, I found the bridge that crosses the Maria river. It’s quite solid but has about an eight foot long gap in the middle. The good news is I got permission to use the Ushers land and got through from Berangi Road to Maria River road and from there it’s only a short road stint to Limeburners and through to Plomer road. Happy DaysGood effort Kram;) I will be up there in a months time,Gassy will be on the UteB)

AnonymousGood work on the repair job Ollie/Gili, we should all be doing some of that. I had a 2 minye rip on the bike whilst helping Tyne learn to ride
I did do a 14Km round trip on the road to get there though
August 23, 2009 at 9:23 am #149696I got some time in on the NX checking out some tracks for next weeks ride, made even more enjoyable when I found out Moto had stuffed up and was driving out to Pacific Park after looking at Tyne’s bike to check out next weeks Australian Trials Championship  that cracked me up because he wouldnt believe me, should have let ya drive out there
. Still the drive through Wisemans in the taxi would have been fun
, plenty of torque steer coming up out of the divi

Quote:We haven’t long got home from our 2nd visit to Freeflight and probably one of the best weekends of riding we have both had in ages!!!!
I really love going to freeflight, there is something there for everyone no matter what your skill level is. I think I also love the simplicity of the place, just need to take your bike, food & tent and your set for a weekend of no fuss riding and camping:)I am happy to say I now have blisters on my hands instead of bruises on my arms & legs. I focused on the techiques alot over the weekend and learnt alot. I am going to continue to practice as it is the best way to become better, while having heaps of fun!!!!!
I am really looking for to Louee, I hope it is like Freeflight, especially with the choice of tracks like we have been treated to this weekend.
As one of our friends said today, you go on 1 track & have heaps fun, then you go to another track & it’s Christmas all over again!!!
