Lest we forget.

Just a thread to post my admiration and thanks for those who currently serve or have served our country. Those who fought, those who died and those who made it home, in one piece or injured. Those who have been deployed overseas, and those who have served on home soil. Those who have done their duty and kept Australia the brilliant place it is.

I’ll be marching in the band at Wellington on ANZAC day then playing at the cenotaph before lunch at the RSL. I hope all Old Bulls have at least a moment to remember our armed forces personell.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.

I have a willys jeep which has been restored close to it’s original self. For the last few years we get a couple of Diggers that have a bit of trouble walking, sqeeze them in the back and cruze the parade the old guys love it.

We will be going to a Anzac day service for sure.

I do not believe that war is the answer to anything.

But feel strongly about respecting and honouring those that have served, both passed and present.

I will be raising a glass for all of our diggers.

May their sacrifice never be forgotton.

I agree that war is not the answer but we still live in world that often shows no more sense or maturity than a primary school playground and sometimes the only solution is a violent one.

Thankfully we had some very tough and brave men defend our playground and for that I thank them and I will remember them.
