    G,Day OBTers

Just finished putting a new piston in last night, but on checking out the underside of the new piston i could see a small dag of metal hanging off where the machining was done.

The funny thing was there was a scratch mark where quality control had tried to clean it up.Probably around 2mm.

Im thinking it must have been friday arvo or monday morning job?

Well see if blows up tomorrow.

Did you remove the dag before you put the piston in?

I’ve never used an athena in a 2T, no reason just haven’t I know they make pretty good 4T stuff so that’s abit of a surprise.
If not a rude Q banger how much for the piston kit?

just collecting info for the old memory banks for sourcing stuff.
