Was looking for a new bike something more suited to the technical hill climbs, when i come across this :woohoo: :woohoo:
Has anyone heard anything about these bikes? Probably wont be able to register them here but you dont have to push :)
Not sure how to download the picture but here is the link
    http://www.christini.com/bikes/christini-awd-450-ds

You can also buy kits for bikes to convert them to AWD

Wrong again Eagle  as usual I may add :P I am positive that CHRISTINI make them using KTMs as the base. I was actually discussing them with one of our sponsors who is looking at them ;)

They were being made for Honda CRF 250/450 ktm 250/300/450 and Gasgas as well. Now they have their own frame and use a Gasgas 300 engine on the smoker and a 450 Honda bottom end but not unicam topend (maybe the chinga version) suprisingly the smoker is USD 8995 and the 4T is USD 6995 :woohoo: unfortunatley no rego for Aust :woohoo:

I think they would be awsome in the steep rocky shaly and gnarly tracks.

wonder how much to ship to oz? They are selling like hotcakes in NZ

Yamaha made one but it made the front heavy or something and an American rider rode one in the 2008 Erzberg and it had a KTM badge on it. !!!

As for cheating …… No more than a rekluse ;)

    #217798

Yep and Yamaha did a 2wd WR with a hydraulic front hub but from memory they cost somewhere in the visibility of $25000.

Yeah that’s the one, rode one in Orange for a few hours years ago. Only gave about 25% drive for the front compared to the rear from memory. Was different and made a difference. Hydraulic pump on the countershaft sprocket/ shaft hoses to the front drive pump.

If we start putting all these things on our bikes what are we going to use as an excuse when its laying on its side half way up the hill
