okay, well i’ve finished part 3 of the surgery on the old man’s truck.

here are some pics i’m sort of proud of.

it is a “10 foot” respray. it looks Great from 10 feet away!

i cut and shut the rust, straitened it out as best i can, this was a bit of a rushed job  as we could not have it off the road for too long, as there is usually someone or something booked in.

we= my folks, my siblings and i all take advantage of the availability of such a great little truck!

    BEFORE Part 3 ( between pt. 2 & 3)

AFTER part 3 befor i have not finished the “dress panel” for the front and the bumper bar, still to come.

the blue race tape over the air vents gave the old man the idea to put a blue “race strip” across the front and along the doors, the horse graphic was artistic license, unbeknown to him :woohoo: until i asked him to check the finished stripe for the okay to finish it off with the clear coat.

    luckily he approved B)

The Transporter is looking great. Top effort there XY!
I reckon you could fit the whole Vic contingent in it for their assault on the Yellow Mountain Cross Country Desert Race in 2010! overcrowded.jpg
You might be able to earn some cents per kilometre coin!!!!
